I have an idea for a kind of sort of remake of Cujo.

Have the basic setup of the mother and son trapped in a car and being terrorized by Cujo but instead of Cujo being an actual dog make him a guy in a dog costume (like the one Harry wore in Dumb & Dumber), that would add to the creep factor tenfold. I have this image in my head of Cujo leaning against the barn at night, smoking a cigarette and glaring at the mother and son. Oh and the title of the movie could be Nice Dog.

There are those rumors about a "Cujo remake" except its C.U.J.O like some sort of acronym, sounds pretty dumb to me

Would you be scared if a maniac in a dog costume started to bark and holler while trying to get into the car with you in it?
Startled perhaps. I would then calmly assess the situation and ask the wife what I should do. It depends I guess. If this happened in a Wal-mart parking lot then I wouldn't be too concerned. If I pulled over for a leak while driving through the prairie and saw one coming out of a wheat field toward me in the middle of nowhere then I would freak out. "Humans in Dog Costumes of the Wheat"...it sounds like it could be a book.
