I hope and dream that an even "adequate" version of this can be put on film, but remain skeptical, and I'm not getting my hopes up for ANY production until at least principal filming has been completed.

Im in for any old worn dusty pair of cowboy boots that slowly pan into view upon the big screen, kicking up the dry red earth as we follow each footstep to the smouldering abandoned fire.

One of the boots kicks at the embers as we see a tired hand appears in the picture, slowly sifting through the charcoal, then lifts out the cigar butt... No wait, thats clint .

Man i need a good spaghetti western again - its been too long.

I say anything is better than nothing - and just because you reckons they'll screw it up is no reason to picket his mansion - let it be made, and if you chose not to go, then don't. Don't stamp your Feet and say it will be bad before it's even cast .

Ghee , some people just wanna spoil it for everyone else .

It might be spectacular - have you thought about that? It might be everything you ever wanted to see, with a score so profound - that it brings you to tears when oy looks up and says "(b)I... (J)ake!"

Oscar performances all round and especially for Andy seryik. For his CGI Oy !!!;)

The better format for this series would would be as a cable show I think. Also, I can't see the creators wanting to go with the book's ending.

"In 2011, Miller and McCarthy found during the writing process for Fury Road that they had enough story material for two additional scripts. One of these, entitled Mad Max: Furiosa, had already been completed, and Miller hoped to film it after the release of Fury Road.[118] In March 2015, during an interview with Esquire magazine, Hardy revealed that he was attached to star in four more Mad Max films following Fury Road.[119] In May 2015, Miller told Wired magazine: "Should Fury Road be successful, I've got two other stories to tell."[120] Later in May, Miller revealed that plans for the sequel had changed and the next installment will be instead titled Mad Max: The Wasteland.[121][122]" wiki

I think the success of Game of Thrones is enough to tell ya it should be a cable series. Each book could be told completely and in detail straight off the page. No need to worry about leaving anything out when you have an entire season dedicated to one book, instead of a 2 hr. movie. The first book being much smaller than the others, could be like an 8 episode season, instead of a 12 like the others. Just makes more sense then flipping back and forth. HBO, SHO or even Netflix would be good candidates for this format.

Akiva Goldsman is producer for Dark Tower

Jonah Hex

I am legend

....and Funnily enough Ouroboros.

Whats Ouroboros i hear you cry.

  1. The Ouroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. The name originates from within Greek language; (oura) meaning "tail" and (boros) meaning "eating", thus "he who eats the tail"

    Sound familiar.... kA?image.jpg
