When I chose my screen name, I was going through the "Mean Reds" - as Holly Golightly so perfectly described it in B at T. And THAT'S why I chose it. However, my bossy cousin pointed out to me that probably everyone thinks I'm a lady of the night - so, yeah - I didn't totally think it all the way through. But that's kind of funny because I am soooo not that.
Maybe we should start a thread asking how everyone came to settle on their screen name. Now I'm all curious.

No, I actually knew that. And I've been trying to read it backwards off and on for awhile now but it just did not click!
I clicked to it but have struggled with the spelling... every time.

Took me a little while to realize what it stood for when I first joined (or maybe when you first joined- can't recall) but I've always pronounced it 'ginkenpets' without thinking about it too much.
I tried to contact Jordan about this, but I haven't heard back. I started a conversation from my inbox, but that might not be the right way to do it? I couldn't find any other options, though...
He's probably been hugely busy with the board since the change-over, I'll pass on a message.
I'm with you, in a sense. I would like to remove my underscore; I went with the underscore as it was an unavailable user name thing... and the name, "samantha" was an homage for me.
So, Samantha without underscore would be cool. If you figure it out let me know.
I agree! The board wouldn't be the same without seeing the name Shasta. Especially with that amazing avatar of yours! Please don't change your name!

You could keep most of it and change it to Hasta..........
