Good choice! He is producing and starring in a BBC comedy about immigrants living in London. It's on CBC. He is good in anything but, for all his uber sexiness, he still wasn't able to save 'The Dark Tower'! :)
Just thought someone might chime in about that - Andy thought it was a pretty good movie (I didn't mind it either) but for a hard core fan of the books, I can see why it would be disappointing :lemo:

I think we've only seen him as Heimdall. I watched some of the Dark Tower on a plane but gave up after about 15 minutes. I liked his acting, but the story just wasn't interesting.

Good choice. I guess. I'm not the most qualified to say, and being somewhat of a literalist, the title makes me chuckle. (Really? Out of population pool of seven and a half billion?)

Objectifying...I think appreciation of someones good looks is not objectifying.

I agree to a point, however try saying that as a man and the response would be...interesting.
With that in mind, then, and in the interests of equality, my position is more in line with what kelliblue said above, in the sense that if appreciating a woman's looks (and body) is always objectification and therefore wrong, the same applies the other way. A situation is either equal or it is not.

And now I'll just point out that Idris and I are the same age. The sod. :D

I think Idris is a good choice. I haven't seen him in many films, but he's a good actor and easy to look at.
I don't always agree with the "sexiest alive" labels, though......it's all in the eye of the beholder. I also think there's a difference in good clean fun, and willful objectifying......it's sad that we've lost sight of that somewhere along the way.

I agree. (*clears throat* My my my, haven't we all become so virtuous.) Ha.
There is nothing wrong with acknowledging that someone is attractive or desirable. Lust is different.
