It turns out that SK is number five on the Toronto Public Library's most-stolen-books list. Do we need to sic the Library Policeman on some Torontonians? Or maybe this guy?
Yes - although I think this can only be construed as a compliment - thieves with excellent taste, it seems?

Robert Munsch writes silly kids' stories. Geronimo Stilton isn't a person--it's a character in a series of books by Elisabetta Dami. Jeff Kinney writes the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books (elementary to early Jr. High level). Dickey writes mysteries, I think--I've seen the name, but never read anything by him. Kishimoto is a mystery to me, too :)

I was wrong: Eric Jerome Dickey is a New York Times best-selling American author best known for his novels about contemporary African-American life.

Thanks, then its not so strange. My guess about Kishimoto is that it is some kind of Manga-books. (that is the right name, isn't it?)

Growing up, the top three publications stolen from the establishment I frequented were Playboy and Penthouse. Come to think of it, those are the first publications in which I read Stephen King. :)
You won't believe this, but I actually DID pick up any Playboy mags I found, simply because I liked the cartoons and the stories. (Couldn't afford to buy any). And I was a Catholic kid, too!
