Since moderators are active participants on this board, their forum posts should also be subject to the ignore button. They may still need to contact any members so PM's should not be affected by the ignore option.

I used to be a moderator on a different board. Many times when a discussion was going "hot" we would post a public notice within the discussion. Having to post them to each individual is a waste of time for people who volunteer their time. (Add to that, many times when a person did receive a personal notice or warning, they felt the need to discuss....and discuss.....and discuss. Waste of my time.)

Also, I'm not sure....if you block me, does it also block me from seeing your posts? Because if so, blocking a mod would NEVER be OK.

'esplain, please. Our moderators are beloved members of this board, why would we ignore their contributions?
