Is this real? I don't understand.
It's an example of a Common Core test question. Common Core has been incurring major complaints from some parents and communities and has been in the news big time lately. Some of the examples I've seen are totally mind boggling. And some of the questions are posed to kids inappropriately, imho. I've seen visual documentation of kids in serious emotional stress over it. It's failing, I think.
