Man detained and submitted to hours of torture.
A man was pulled over for a simple traffic stop. Police noticed that the man seemed to be "clenching his buttocks" so they detained him while they obtained a search warrant, then submitted him to hours of painful and humiliating anal cavity searches, including multiple enemas and a surgical colonoscopy.
No drugs were found on (or in) his person.
Needless to say, he has filed suit.

Maybe he just really had to go!

I read this and was appalled but I got to thinking about it a little bit and I'll bet that there is more to this story. I would be willing to bet that this guy was a royal pain in the ass (and that got turned around, didn't it :biggrin2:) at this traffic stop and probably was being very abusive. If this was the case, I'm not saying the police are n the right here but I'm just saying I'll bet he did something to trigger this abuse. I have never understood why people want to fight with the police at minor traffic stops. Like that video of the lady a few years ago that got tazed because she wouldn't get out of her car. I was watching that video thinking, "stop arguing and just get out of the damned car." If you think the police are wrong, just go to court and the cop won't even show up and you'll get your ticket dismissed. Doing that will save you a few hours of your time and a couple of cavity searches. :biggrin2:

I see where you're coming from, but it's still illegal, no matter how abrasive the guy was. Just because they're cops, it doesn't give them the right to torture the guy. What are we? America? Oh, wait...
