I like her better as a skinny babysitter.
Not you too danie???I like her better as a skinny babysitter.
OK after looking around on board for a while and even making a few posts, I noticed quite a few people talking about re-reading many of Mr King's books. I have been reading his books since age 16 beginning with a paperback Salem's Lot. He is still the only non-fiction writer I read.
Many times I have tried to re-read one of these without much success. Once I get back into the pages the stories come back too easily without the original suspense or anticipation created the first time I opened it. And this is not a small sample size. Since around 1985 my wife has bought every King book that has come out for me for Christmas or birthday depending on release date.
I don't get it. I can watch an Andy Griffith rerun that I have seen hundreds of times (for those that know the show, only black and white episodes and for those that are too young, Google both Andy Griffith and black and white televisions) and still get the same enjoyment out of it.
Have been married to or courting same woman for 37 years now but if she looked at me with a crooked smile (good luck seeing that) would still have same effect. Even though I know THAT story by heart.
Is it me?
....better have the pills ready bubby.....Not you too danie???
If someone posts pics or videos from the movie "Perfect" I may have to take my nitro tablet.
The docs say I am good to go for anything within reason but this is out of bounds ya'll.
...without question....I have lusted after and admired her from very afar for a very long time.....And she's just as gorgeous with more clothes on.
Alright for all you sadistic posters I also wanted to mention I had to give up my favorite food too.....better have the pills ready bubby.....

... congrats man!....you are the kind of rehab patient that health care staff enjoy....the tiredness is not a setback or unusual...the pump just hiccups a little....the muscle is still re-learning....In this thread I started we have "talked" about my mini-vacation caused by a heart stoppage and subsequent cardio rehab.
Therefore (who really uses that word when speaking?) I thought I would provide a small update on,well,me.
I finished 12 weeks of rehab without missing a day. 3 days a week for an hour 1/2. As I have mentioned was youngest in class entire time. Most were from early 70s and up. Turned out the woman who ran department graduated from high school with me. Mean basketball player in her day. (I know because sometimes in the olden days coaches made varsity boys practice against varsity girls. Never liked that because they were, well, mean) Anyway best thing for me personally because she stayed on me everyday.
Results so far have been a loss of 22 pounds since "the day daddy died" as my oldest son puts it. Walking a lot on treadmills and riding stationary bikes has helped with strength and stamina. My heart is slowly recovering but still get tired for no reason. Hate that.
Eating feathery things still. On the first of every month (anniversary of heart attack) I do allow myself 2 pieces of Pizza Hut pepperoni. Not deep dish but hand tossed and it tastes wonderful. Gave up Dr Peppers too, which for me was horrible. Feel good most of the time except for the aforementioned (again who says that?) tired for no reason episodes.
Thanks for reading this if you do. Typing it out is more for me than y'all but I felt like sharing.
Yeah on my exit day they make you walk 6 minutes as fast as you can. Tried to set a record by jogging fast last couple of laps. Came up 10 seconds short.... congrats man!....you are the kind of rehab patient that health care staff enjoy....the tiredness is not a setback or unusual...the pump just hiccups a little....the muscle is still re-learning....
TWSSGood job Kidd! You will get your stamina back.
TWSSSlow and easy does it. Don't push too hard.
