I've been to Florida many times. Way too hot and humid for me from July to September. Although the scenes on the Miami beach tend to be rather spectacular.
Thanksgiving isn't a holiday here, but I really miss it. So on the Sunday after I do as traditional a dinner as I can. Ireland is improving produce available. So I boil and puree the Halloween pumpkin, cranberry sauce, two kinds of potato white and sweet roasted, turkey from the local butcher, sausage stuffing, ham and peas and onion.
....since the loss of my Mom, I've been thinking a lot about Thanksgivings of the past....my family has always been small, but those that have moved into the clearing, have never left the "table of my mind"....
Still one of the funniest episodes of WKRP in my memory.
But I was planning to join Y'all for dinner.......
