Very stylish and versatile filmmaker. My favourite film would be 'Phantom of the Opera', a very lavish version of the story.
Of course, he also did some of the best Grisham films. I also like Flatliners, but I can't help feel that the premise was more interesting than the way it was played out - but still, it was visually a nice looking film.
Lost Boys was also a fun film. Overall, I think he made many films that were just fun and nice to look at. I never disliked Batman and Robin that much - especially Uma Thurman is quite fun it, but you must not dislike camp to enjoy it. Audiences now want a gritty Batman, but probably it could have done better if it was released in some other, earlier era.
