I remember 2 little old ladies on the jury that voted not guilty mainly because the defendant looked remorseful in his chair and they thought the courtroom experience would be enough to help him mend his ways.Probably make those decisions on feelings no more as often, and/or often on, which side told the best lies, and/or told them best, bad lie but good liar is what I'm sayin'.
Truth, truths, and nuttin' butt those "truths", they ain't always so very convenient for neither side, in our system of jurisprudence, and more oftener than most would like to think, is what I thinkin'.

Just watched this for the first time a couple months ago. The old version. Excellent.Ever see the movie 12 angry men? Excellent movie about a jury that want to make a quick decision but one wants to discuss it. He says somewhere "It is a mans freedom were talking about here. Surely thats worth a little more than a footballgame?" I think it was James Stewart in the lead and alot of good characteractors as the 11 other jurors.
Henry Fonda was the lead.Ever see the movie 12 angry men? Excellent movie about a jury that want to make a quick decision but one wants to discuss it. I wish! (I got called in and after sitting there all day it turned out that I was not one of the "chosen people"). Up here in Canada your name basically gets put in a hat, then the jury interviews you and says yea or nay.The eyes are on me. I have been summoned.
Anyone had to do this before? How was it?
That was a great movie! (was Spencer Tracy in that one as well?)Ever see the movie 12 angry men? Excellent movie about a jury that want to make a quick decision but one wants to discuss it. No, not that one. But i remember him in a courtdrama where he was the defenceattorney and Katherine Hepburn the Prosecutor. They were married in the movie which added complications. That was a great movie! (was Spencer Tracy in that one as well?)
You're right. I misremembered. Anyway,.... A great movie!Henry Fonda was the lead.
I am thinking of one where the townspeople acted all innocent until it turned out that a news reporter had them all on film, acting crazy (sort of like a mob mentality). No, not that one. I do remember know that the spencer flick i thought of was Adams Rib. I remember one named fury where Tracy stars and as i remember it there is a mob in there somewhere but not quite in the way you describe it. Then there is always the classic Bad Day at Black Rock where the townspeople try to forget whats happened. Robert Ryan and Ernest Borgnine in that one too....I am thinking of one where the townspeople acted all innocent until it turned out that a news reporter had them all on film, acting crazy (sort of like a mob mentality).
Am I going to have to Google this now? I am tired - need more coffee
