I wonder if the stroke and diabetes were related. Hopefully treating the diabetes will lessen the risk of future events.A few days ago my mom was diagnosed with diabetes. A few months ago she had her second stroke and now this. I know the Lord doesn't give anything we can't handle, but He seems to be piling it on lately. She's going to meet with a specialist this Friday to discuss some of this stuff in depth. Luckily someone will be there with her to take notes since my mom's memory just hasn't been the same since those pesky strokes.
In somewhat better news I'll start my new job on the 1st. Only my new job happens to be my current job...
I will just be moving to a new location right down the road from my current location for more money. I was going to quit my job and move to another opportunity (one outside of fast food), but my boss' boss told me to deliver a list of my demands that would make me stay.
......
So I did and I'm staying in the fast food industry for the time being.

I think a couple of these people showed up at the King Kon in Ohio in 2014 (I did not really know who they were). They kind of 'crashed the party' so to speak, but Andy seemed to get along okay with them.
I'm sorry to hear your mom is having such a rough time. I hope she gets better soon.
You have a hell of a hard time leaving that job. You've been trying to leave for years.
I work with a lot of stupid people at times and that gets frustrating. It's mostly those immature teenagers of which I see way too many. Learning how to delegate duties once I became an assistant was the hardest thing for me. I'd put too much on myself because I knew I was the only one who could do something right. Some people get chewed out for not working enough, but I'd be the guy that would get chastised for working too hard. lol.
However, I've learned how to delegate over the years. Even to snotty teenagers. So I'm actually doing less work than I was a year ago, but I'm more stressed out for it in a weird way. It's harder being responsible for idiots than it is to be responsible for myself, but I finally feel like I'll be getting paid enough to deal with it all. Sort of.
And I've learned to leave the bulk of the stress at work and not take things personally.

Plus it's the Ogre's birthday (he's 49), so I have to get done and out the door in time for celebratory dinner. Did I tell you I've managed to nearly kill all my boss's plants while he's away. I have until Friday to figure that out. So much to do, so little time. How is July nearly over?
