Our spring and summer was about like yours.....almost non existent. I do always look forward to fall though, all the gorgeous colors, clean crisp air, cool sleeping weather. If I could pick one season to live in, it would be fall.I'm not. It seems like our summer went so fast. It just doesn't feel like we had a summer. Spring got here so late. We had a pretty rainy (which is good) and a cooler summer. I think that means we are in for it this winter. Snow fell up in the mountains a couple days ago. It will be here soon, and I'm most definitely not ready for that.
One thing I am looking forward to...my kids told me they are done Trick or Treating. So I am looking forward to leaving my porch light on and handing out candy. Have never done that because we were always out!
Yes, let's do that!!Our spring and summer was about like yours.....almost non existent. I do always look forward to fall though, all the gorgeous colors, clean crisp air, cool sleeping weather. If I could pick one season to live in, it would be fall.
I'm not ready for winter either......let's move in with Spidey for the winter!!!
I have a feeling that I won't be needing a jacket much this winter.......Yes, let's do that!!
I am looking forward to hunting season, too. Meat in the freezer!
We definitely have the crisp air already, in the mornings. I went grocery shopping yesterday morning and wore a jacket and ran my heat in my car! Last night Scott grilled for supper, and I tried to sit out there with him. But the shadow of the house, which is a blessing when it is hot, was too cool for me, even with a jacket on. I wimped out and came back inside.
I hear you, going through the same thing myself. But after a hot flash passes then I am freezing. I don't know if that is normal or if that is from my thyroid issue. God knows I have enough extra "natural" layers, I should never be cold.I have a feeling that I won't be needing a jacket much this winter.......
I almost tried Morgan's "head in the freezer" idea last night.....I hear you, going through the same thing myself. But after a hot flash passes then I am freezing. I have done it!I almost tried Morgan's "head in the freezer" idea last night.....

That's a fabulous idea!!!!(((Sunny and Cat))) I honestly don't know how I will make it through a Richmond summer when I start with the hot flashes. How much room do you have up North, Cat??

Hmmm.... We have Taco Tuesday, Hump Day for Wednesdays, and Sunny’s weird Friday themes. Perhaps it should be Menopause Mondays?
