I crocheted a few doilies to scatter about (to keep the drinks from leaving marks on the furniture):

The white ones would make really cool dreamcatchers.....

Which variation? I think the one where you put it in the freezer would be good for one of your backyard BBQs (more casual for around the firepit)

Yes, that's the one I was thinking of! I think it will be cool and refreshing.
And I'm a casual kind of girl.....my idea of dressing up at work is embroidered jeans, black top, and wedge heels

It's a bit early where I am, but I like a nice vodka gimlet (vodka, freshly squeezed lime juice and a dash of simple syrup). Served in a stemmed glass that has been rimmed with sugar - probably the sugar part is not classic, but I like the look of it.

I'm still fighting this cold, now Evan and Scott have it, too. I honestly don't feel terrible, it is manageable. What is awful is the insomnia that comes with it. Last night I got 4 solid hours of sleep, that is the most in the last 5 days. Been running off of 2...I'm going to start seeing little bald doctors any minute.
