Hurray for Do Nothing Friday!

Today I am going for a pelvic ultrasound. Originally I was to wait until October 3rd but then another doctor appointment was conflicting so I called the hospital and luckily she had a cancellation and she squeezed me in for today.

My friend called about a couple of trips coming up next March/April so I am going to get some information on that.

Hello everybody!
Just a quick hello and to see how you all are, hopefully good.
We are STILL in war with the bed bugs, FIVE treatments so far, yesterday was the latest one and although we didn`t find any today for the first time since it all stared, I do have some fresh bites on my leg.
My daughter and wife have not had any today, so at least that`s good.
We are hoping this will be the end of it, they simply have to die in the next few days, or today, because there isn`t anymore an inch of anything that wasn`t treated, sprayed, powered, we keep washing and drying our clothes like crazy...and we don`t know what else to do anymore.
If, God forbid, there are still some left, which we will know in the next 5 days `cause that`s how long it takes for them to hatch, then I have to ask the landlord for the heat treatment, that`s the one we haven`t done yet.
It`s expensive and our landlord is obviously not willing to do it, but that`s the last option left, if they are still around and they don`t do it, then...I don`t know.
We are flat out broke, barely have for food anymore, threw almost all of our furniture out, one bed and a mattress are left, we bought a new computer chair but that`s it.
I can`t describe what this is doing to us, I can`t imagine a fire being much worse, almost everything is destroyed anyway, I even had to throw out more than two hundred books, I checked all of my books but for those two hundred I simply wasn`t sure if they laid an egg somewhere in the spine or not, so...no choice.
Lots of SK books had to go, first editions, too. It broke my heart, I was literally crying but I couldn`t risk it, our health is more important.
My daughter is a real warrior though, we are battling this for two months straight now, they bit her numerous times, not once has she complained or made a scene. We couldn`t even make a birthday party for her 10th BD which was on the 8th of this month, we can`t invite anyone into the house as long as it`s not cleared and she is sad, but waiting patiently. When this is over, I`ll throw her the biggest birthday bash ever, I don`t care how much money I`ll have to borrow from someone, but she will have the best party ever.
yeah, so that`s our life for the last two months straight.

Not a bad idea, but I hope it wont come to that, I intent to sell them for her much later in her life, when she goes to college and I`m short of some cash to help her out. But the main idea is to keep them forever for her, but...we will see, if need be and I don`t have any other choice, maybe I will do it...and cry again.

Hope all have a great weekend! I am going to take it easy or at least try to this weekend! My bad cough that I have had almost 3 weeks now are getting better, I had to see a doctor on Monday because I cough day and night. He gave me 3 kinds of different medicine and I think some of them have start to help since I feel better already.

Star and the dogs doing well.

Forecast gave warning that a hard storm is hit us tomorrow, it's going to be a very windy day, some trees might fall and we may get power outages. Maybe some rain too. It's my turn tomorrow to clean up for the horses, a interesting thing to do if we get hit by the storm.
