Finland
This week is a vacation week for me.. And on friday evening i take off (actually i take the boat) to Finland for a big party on saturday. Already the partyplace and the after party party is scheduled. And as good send off for my vacation i got a phonecall from my boss today saying that they intend to prolong my contract with another year. Now i really have something to celebrate!! Next weekend here i come, you just watch out!!

Happy to hear this Kurben oh and welcome to Finland. Weather has been crazy here but otherwise everything is okay I think. :D have a fun on the party.

Happy Thursday to all!!

This morning I thought to drink coffee, eat some toasted bread. But nope, Kuisma (They named the storm Kuisma this time) decided that I don't need any
coffee or toasted bread, instead I end up drinking juice and eating bread (not toasted) in a dark apartment. Not a good morning at all. But thankfully I got
coffee in the work instead so that made my day better.

Hope all are doing well or getting better.

I really have been a lazy reader and need to get back to King and his books. But there is so much else that is taking my time. Maybe this weekend, when boyfriend is back in North and I have some free time as well.

Have a safe day and take good care of you!!

(((Neesy))) Hope all is well.
I hope you're ok, Neesy! Sending you lots of love and a spoon or two (I don't have too many to spare myself).

Hope everything is o.k. Nessy
Today the inspection of my apartment took place. They brought a checklist. I got no remarks at all!!!! They checked ventilation, elements and so on.
I am relieved.

Neesy..... I hope everything is allright. I send you a load of comforting vibes.

Thanks :encouragement::thumbs_up::cheerful:

Today is much better overall, even though it will be getting much colder soon - it's pretty cold and rainy out again today.

Tomatoes 2.jpg

So I took pity on my poor tomatoes that were out in our insulated garage - they did not look like they were doing very good (especially those spindly looking little ones in the middle). By the way, those are brown egg shells on top of the dirt for added calcium.

Maybe that grow light will help ward off SAD (seasonal affective disorder) as well - who knows?

They do make special light bulbs with the spectrum of light that helps with SAD but I'm not sure if grow lights do that as well.

That's too bad. They're nowhere near that expensive here. Verilux has a lot of different options for the SAD lights that are much more reasonable but I don't know if you can get them in Canada.
Wow - look what I found when I Googled :smile:

Grow lights work by mimicking the light spectrum of the sun. Full spectrum lights used to treat Seasonal Affective Disorder produce the same type of light. Thus, artificial lights beneficial for your plants will also be pleasant for you. Full spectrum bulbs can be had in incandescents, fluorescents and LEDs. We have the incandescents and fluorescents in our house. The big benefits of incandescents is that you can put them on a dimmer switch, though there are fluorescent screw in lamp bulbs that work as three way bulbs in the proper sockets. I'd say a floor or table lamp that can be directed to your plants would be your best bet.

It's funny that it is from "SteveInMaine" :eyebrow::tounge:

Lamps for the plants and SAD?
:tickled_pink:

(I'm sure it's just a coincidence but it's a funny one)

Finally got some answers on my labs. Been waiting on a call back since Tuesday. I called them this morning. T3 and T4 are normal. TSH is 10.9, so more than double the high end of the normal range. No wonder I have been so tired and just flat out not feeling good at all.

Need to pick up new dose of medicine. I am so tired of this rollercoaster. In 6 months, I will be feeling better but my labs will say I need a lower dose and we will start this whole rotation all over again.

I am over it. :barf:

Anyway, happy Friday and everyone take care and be well while the board is closed. Big hugs and positive vibes to all. :love_heart:
