every summer we have a large maulti cultural festival called heratige festival. we have over 200 countires and 300 tents in a huge park in our city. its lots of fun and is the biggest in the world. this is me outside of romania. I made a freind.

Happy Hump Day! Have you guys seen the new Geico commercial where they bring back a bunch of their characters and Clyde has his own trailer? Hilarious!
School supplies are bought. Yay! There was another mom with her elementary age kids, and she was supremely frustrated. She said to her kids, I can't wait until you guys are out of school. I LOATHE school shopping.
I couldn't help but laugh out loud, she said it with such venom! I told her, Me too.
Went to the bookstore because the owner is closing out the books and moving into some kind of networking business. Boo hiss. Anyway, used paperbacks are $1, hardbacks $2. Got a couple Alice Hoffman books and a Garth Stein book. Alison found a couple, too. Sure have been treating myself lately...ordered that Jack Skellington wax warmer, ordered a couple things from my cousin who is having a pampered chef party (just a cutting board and a batter bowl. Those were a need not a want, but could have spent less at Walmart!) and a few books. I better cool it!

I have been putting Ikea bookshelves together. What bugs me is that it always some things over and i cent figure out where they should go. The shelves sure seem stable enough. Have been putting books in them too, done some reorganizing.. I have created a new classics section, everything from Dickens and Dostojevskij to Wilde. Worked great. Gave some more room in the fiction shelf too!
But i do wonder where these screws and nails and small treethingies and other stuff are supposed to go.....?

I've got the computer for just a little while this morning, so checking in while I can.
Fingerpads are sore as hell from using the tv remote! lol, mom's is a little better than mine at home. But not by much.
I've been keeping posts down to the minimum lately.
Still in San Antonio, of course, and having still having a good time. I've got all my work assignments done and can sit back and relax.
Going down to the riverwalk this weekend! Been so looking forward to that! We're going to get a hotel room down there for a couple of days.
It's going to be a lot of fun!
We'll probably see about returning to North Texas in about a week or so from now.
