I ate here last Saturday. The food was not that great. Afterwards, I was able to leave my own version of 'The Dark Tower' in their facilities!

You were in Niverville? It's a small world, isn't it?

I like The Empress of China over on Henderson Highway - they have very good food

Oh my goodness... I'm not sure I even know how to navigate this site anymore! I was thinking it had been a long time since I was here last, but wow...it's been even longer than a long time! I know I stopped by to tell all my friends about my new grandson, but he's almost nine months old already! It's crazy how much busier my life is than it was a few years ago when I joined this site. And it's just really hard to believe how little time we all have left here.
The days the SKMB are open are the days I'm the busiest. It just so happens I took a break from packing for my birthday vacation and my grandson is sick, so I actually had a few minutes tonight. Normally the little Bug is at my house two nights a week, sometimes three, but I can't do all the crying when he's sick! This is actually only the second time he's been sick. Lucky little guy!
My birthday vacation is a trip to Vegas. :) I don't have to pay for a thing! Yay! My husband and my son are taking care of everything.

I really miss having time to come here. I miss my friends. I even forgot to go get my new book today!!!! See? We need this place for lots of reasons, including reminders to buy new books! Haha

Please don't forget me...I haven't forgotten all of you. I'll check in again when I can. I'm going to go peek around for a bit....see what I've been missing.

Awwww - look how cute he is!

You're so lucky to have a grandson - it's great to hear from you again Debbie :biglove:

I just picked up my new glasses this morning and I can't believe how much better I see now. :) My distance vision didn't change from last time but my reading vision changed some. I didn't really notice it while I've been reading recently but when I put the new the new ones on, I can see a difference with reading. I'm ready for a small type version of War and Peace now. :)

Good morning!

I did not get to read much last night, not much yesterday at all. Well, I got 50 pages in I guess. More than I thought! The pages are flying by! Going to curl up with a blanket and read the rainy day away. It is one of my favorite things! Haha, I say that about reading in the sunshine too. :applause:

Have a great day and a happy weekend! Big hugs and positive vibes to all. :love_heart:

Good Thorsday to all, Ka-tet!
And everyone have a good weekend if I don't see you all by "Closing Time" -Semisonic-
Been really busy and got a crazy load of laundry to get finished up today.
The Boy came home looking like a mud monster yesterday after work.
Lol, he had fun.
Love you guys.

What ??
Vacation ?? Again ?? :icon_eek:
I'd originally thought of taking it this week but put it off because of all that is going on with the release of THE INSTITUTE. Not sure how much of a "vacation" it will be as a lot of the time will be spent doing laundry, dishes, and cooking along with helping take care of the new baby and almost 3 year old. Can't complain too much, though, as I volunteered to do it. :)
