Hi Everyone and Welcome Back
Not sure if this is the right place to put this comment ...
The Trump /Trudeau sparring match has become a bone of contention for most Canadians these days (me included).
NAFTA is a very important matter to the 3 countries.
Soooo when I heard yesterday about the #ThanksCanada on Facebook well, it brought me to tears (and not much does that).
Some positive comments at this tense time were a breath of fresh air to us in the North. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You
made this Canadian's day

Hi to everyone!! I am happy to finally have some time to check in here too.

Now I am even more busy. But in a good way maybe. I think I said in a thread sometimes that I'll never find any good man online. Well now I have.
Yes I'm dating with a 30 year old guy, who has two daughters from earlier relationship and said that he want more kids if he find a right women beside him,
good for me. And he is nice and really like my dogs and my horse, He also have a dog. He lives in North Finland but work in my home town on the weeks and travel
every Friday to North Finland after work. We have seen each other almost every day and now after almost a year since I and Juho went separate ways, I am
ready to fall in love again and start a new relationship, Yes believe or not but I found this wonderful man on a internet dating site. I should never say never.
Life is smiling again for me.

All my critters are doing well. Star and I have fun horseback riding. Today she was pretty crazy, she ran away from me when I tried to catch her and it took
almost 10 minutes to get a halter on her. But she finally calm down.

It's been cooler now and it has also rain. On Friday when I drove to the stable hail came down, yes a typical Finnish summer, never know what to expect.
Thankfully the hail didn't do any damages and it turned to rain.

I'll try to stop by when I get a chance, so much going in my life now.

Don't walk away just because a rude person yelled at you - who does she think she is? That sort of behaviour should not be tolerated in a workplace. I don't care if she is 20 or 60 - just keep at it and do your best - don't let beeyatches like that get you down!

thanks nessy so update on the job at west 49. So on Thursday I had to pull over one of the assistant managers and talk to him one on one. So after Wednesdays fiasco, i was tired and dealing with a very sore shoulder after over pushing myself to impress these nobs so i could get a full time stock job. well this really snooty manager in training and her silly snarky friend was like starting to pick on me and pick on my shoulder, and i was like um this is none of your concern as i have already talking about this with management and they said it was fine as to not hurt myself any further. she was all like did they not tell you you would be lifting heavy boxes in the interview and i was like umm no they did not and this is non of your concern, and then her stupid friend pipes up and tells me to shut up and do my job, and i was like um excuse me what did you just say? I told her to not speck to me in that manner and tone and it was very rude, and she had no right to tell me what to do, and i did not care if her friend was a junior manager or what ever that is. in the land of retail it really is nothing of importance. so she gave me more attitude witch i ignores and the co-manager happens to over hear this and asked me what happens so i told him, and he said she had no right to talk to me that way. I asked him if this is how the store was going to be run and if it was he should tell me know and i am not coming back. I do not tolerate upper management screaming at people and barking orders, and I will not put up with rude co-workers who tell me to shut up and do my job. no matter what position they have. he told me that was understandable and he would not run a store like that as he has ran like 3 other stores. so i was like o.k. i also talked to him about what happen on Wednesday and it was my fault, and i apologized to the lady who was an assistant manager and she said that was o.k and not to worry about it just dont do it again. so i was like o.k. fine i will not. I then had Friday and Saturday off. I called into to get my hours for sunday as i was off on saturday at the pride parade our city held, (which was AWESOME) So she tells me to come in on Sunday from 11-7. i thought that was an odd time, but whatever, then a few hours later she calls me and tells me that she does not need me after all and west 49 does not need my help anymore. So i am left with 3 conclusion 1) she got rid of me because she did not like me due to me telling of her friends 2) they where done with the majority of the job and they no longer needed people and all they wanted was bodies 3) I did a good job and their was nothing else to do, or they did not have any positions for me, ie stock or floor. Also they did not give me a new hire package and did not fill out any forms. which was a bit bizarre. my job search lady is going to call them and see what they said about my performance, and why they did not keep me. she finds it very odd. . in the mean time i am moving on from west 49 and applying at other jobs. I just hope getting my paycheck from them is not going to be a hasstle. also this is a large store , its in the bottom floor of the old sears at west edmonton mall. so we will see

Glad to see you are so happy - have you gone up to North Finland to see where he lives yet? There are a lot of people who have met online who end up in good relationships so it's not a big deal anymore.

...this sucks-it do, it do.....but, sounds like the atmosphere was rapidly becoming toxic, so move on and look for cleaner air elsewhere.....

Good luck with the new job search. It sounds like a very complicated issue and I hope your 'job search lady' can get to the bottom of it and find out what happened. Sorry you had to go through this hassle - maybe the next place will be a better one

No not yet, but next weekend (not this coming weekend, weekend after that) I will go to North Finland with him. He have a cabin in North that we are going too and I'll think I see his house at the same time.
