Peeking in on the fly--I miss your 'faces'. Send me some good vibes, Tet. I have to make a decision about next year's job tonight. Do I follow my boss to a new school or stay where I am? New school will be 50 cents less per hour than what my current place is offering (still a $2/hr raise), but the stress level will be less. Where I am now, I would be the Interventions specialist--the boss--but I dunno. Poo.
Taking classes this summer--so far, The History of Rock and Roll is great fun :)
Go with your gut instinct - good luck!

Just getting ready to go to see a doctor with my son, Josh. Was planning to do a workout first, come home and wash, then go, but I think afternoon might be a better time to go to the gym. (Plus I was on the board earlier for quite a while) :a11:

What do people here do? If you work out or exercise, do you find it more enjoyable or practical to do it in the morning or is the afternoon better for you?

I miss being able to run :run_pig:

The most I can do now is walk, but I guess that's better than doing nothing

Happy Wednesday or Hump Day!!

Still so hot here, I couldn't believe my eyes when I went to the car after work and the car's thermometer showed 34C/93F but it
dropped to 27C/80F when I started to drive. But for tomorrow it's getting cooler and the T- storm arrive. But now I don't complain,
this is what I wanted after a long and cold winter, so I enjoy.

A workday for me tomorrow, but I am off on Friday. I really liked the work I do, have got many great co workers that have became
friends to me too. And the older people are great to have to do with. Even if they are patient, we can have long conversations and
talk about so much. Some people are very lonely and not have a relative to talk with. I really feel sorry for those.

Have a good day and take care of you and stay safe!! I must hurry to bed now.

Sounds like you work in a Nursing Home - those people are lucky to have such a kind person to talk with :encouragement:

I was cleaning out a filing cabinet and I found a credit card statement from 1996. I have charges from Brentanos (I think this was a mall bookstore), AOL (LOL), Electronics Boutique (a software store), KAY BEE Toys, Specs Music (a Florida record/CD store that doesn't exist anymore), MSN (why was I paying for AOL and MSN?), Laserdisc Fan Club (must have bought Laser Discs there - yes, I had a player), The Sports Authority (I think it's gone) ,FAO Schwartz (I think they still exist) and the famous (at least in Florida) Ron Jon's Surf Shop.

I like looking at old checks and credit card statements. When you look at them, you remember what you were doing at the time.

If I don't do it in the morning, it doesn't get done. Hard work, anyway--we walk the dogs in the evening, but my geriatric Yorkie makes that more of a stroll most days.

Older people and little kids get ignored so often. All many of them want is for someone to just listen for a while. You're a good, caring person, Jojo.

Just wanted to say hello. Crete is great, the water warm and inviting the Sun is hot hot hot and the food is good. Have tried kalitsounia, saganaki, kleftiko , stifado haloumi and Feta Cheese. It taste so much better local ly than when buying it at home. Knossos was amazing!!! Ill get you some pics when I get home. I have a little more than a week still to go. But the best part is probably not having to get up. To sleep undisturbed by alarm clocks is heaven.
