Just a shout out to those who are already retired or semiretired (or even know someone who's retired!) - did you find the adjustment a bit challenging? How long does it take for you to feel better about a new routine or the fact that you are collecting a pension but don't have to go to work?
I think after so many years of working I somehow feel a bit guilty about not accomplishing enough or being more productive. I know - everyone thinks it's the greatest thing and look forward to it but some days I think it would be nice to be back at work. Anyone else ever heard of this or am I just a strange person (okay - don't answer that last question)
It's been six months now for me - I heard somewhere it takes about a year to adjust. Any thoughts?

Scott is taking his brother and Ty up the mountain tomorrow. They will be gone a few days. Evan has to work so he can't go. It is still a bit early for me to go up. Still too cold at night for me. So Ali and I will have a (mostly) girls weekend while Evan is working and the others are camping.

Oh, sorry. I must have missed that part. I need to Google Bighorn mountains. I drove across Wyoming in 2015 and saw mountains on my way to Yellowstone but don't know what they were called. Here's a pic of me stretching my legs and neck.That is my oldest son, my daughter in law and my grandbabies!! They are pretty cute, though, aren't they!
Going to the Bighorn mountains. Love it up there. I hope to get to go later this summer, has been a couple years since I've gotten to go with.
A lot of people go through the Bighorns on their way to Yellowstone! It is the more scenic route. But I do think it is a more round a bout way of getting there.
I just checked. We did. I think we clipped the bottom range and hopped onto 14 through Cody and into the western entrance of Yellowstone. You have a beautiful state. I wish I lived that close to Montana.
