Ok so last night doors opened at 6:00 and that's when we got in. It was very cold so I didn't wait in line. When I went to get my tickets early in the day the lady said to stay warm we didn't over sell so everyone gets a sit inside. So we get there and its pretty packed but there are still seats. I wanted to sit on the floor but everyone I was with wanted to go to the balconey. So I went up and got pretty close but the way they had it set up he picked the chair closest to us but the chairs were cocked and all I saw was a side view of him! They told us no flash photography and as far as I could tell everyone complied. They also said absolutley no recording but I kinda hope someone got it so I can relive it again. When he came out at 7:30 he was wearing a K.C. Royals hat and that got a huge ovation. He talked and told stories about What inspired Revival and he told a relly funny story about his cousin & him growing up. Then he read for few minutes. He said he had a cold and wasn't feeling well but he played it off well. Then they brought out a guitar and he told a story about the Rock Bottom Remainders. Then he played a song for us. And that was about it. They handed out books but no one in my group got a signed book. All in all I had a great time but wished I would've stayed on the floor.
