Something else that works is using the Quote button. It's supposed to be for a multi-quote function, but I use it alot if I am catching up in a thread and a page or so behind. Then when I get to the end of reading, I click reply and there will be a button for you to insert quotes. This will help if what you want to quote is several posts away!

I was gonna bring my sisters since they're also fans
But, it turns out, they've already made some other plans.

He no longer reads for pleasure... Not sure I should bring

My mom is my Kon date and she's seen Maximum Overdrive and the Shawshank Redemption movies. That's probably it. Never read any of his books. She's never met a stranger though, so she'll be fine. Hope you can make it, Mrs. (& Mr.) Smeej!

2014 - Ohio - that was my hubby Andy - he seemed a bit bewildered to be surrounded by King fans. There were a few party crashers who showed up at the last minute and I notice he seemed to form an affinity with them (at least while we were in the Golden Corral).

He really enjoyed touring the prison where Shawshank was filmed. I notice he never wears his bright orange T-shirt from the event but then maybe orange just isn't his colour.

If you do go, I think you'll be glad you did. I am bringing my son Josh - he went with me to Toronto for the Sleeping Beauties event. We each got a hard cover book (not signed though)

So, I just realized a few minutes ago that we are now at the 50 day mark!!! How did that happen?

I think stacy270 was going to make name tags. Do we need to get her a list with our user names and first names? If folks aren't board users, would we mention their connection to the board member? ie: do1you9love? and do1you9love?'s mom

As for the cookout, it says BYOB, but do we need to pitch in for other stuff? We are flying in Wednesday afternoon (it was the best deal) so we would have time to pick up paper supplies or sides, desserts, etc. etc. Just need to know what I can do.

Finally got off my lazy butt and booked a room.
So (although I'm still not sure if I will bring my groom)
I'll be there with bells on and I cannot wait to meet
Friends I've never seen before so, please, save me a seat.

Also, let me know what I can bring... What I can do
Other than some homemade cookies for the BBQ,
And how I can throw in cash to help defray the cost
Or, where I can find directions so I don't get lost.

I know there's still lots of time 'til we meet at the Kon,
Still, I'd better buy myself a shirt before they're gone.
After all, it's June already... Summer goes by fast.
Yay! 'though I may come alone, I'm sure we'll have a blast.
