Kings Ranked Books

is there somewhere in the forum where a thread was created on ranking kings books 1 to 64 or what the current total is. be interesting on what members feel on certain books. not sure how it would be done. obviously everyone hasn't read every book. maybe list every book alpha and then rank 1 to 10 stars and then when everyone put in there 2 cents see what it comes out as. I know not perfect but it would be a nice guide to look at and also probally be fun.

I have only read 10 books of his since I started 2 years ago but here is my 2 cents. the format is book that is read then rate of 1-5 stars.

From a Buick 8-------------------4

The Long Walk-------------------5
Revival---------------------------3.5
Tommyknockers-----------------2-- This book was in 3 parts. Part 1 I give a 5. Loved it. but part 2 and 3 not so much except maybe the last 30 or 40 pages. Part 1 was the reason this book didn't get a 1 for me.
Mr. Mercedes---------------------5
The Stand------------------------5-- I mean how could it not be a 5 out of 5.
Needful Things-------------------4.5
Blockade Billy--------------------4.5-- I have seen some ranking online and BB always seemed to be close to the bottom. Im big on Baseball on playing my whole youth and up to college years plus a big fan so maybe I was biased. I just wished he would have turned that into a novel. didn't want it to end.
Full Dark, No Stars--------------4

What do you guys think of putting an explanation next to ranking. Not a review just a quick why a 5 or why not a 5 etc. I will do 3 just for example.

I WOULD LOVE TO READ YOUR GUYS AND GALS RANKINGS. I know that might take some time for some of you who have read a lot of king. Arranging and rearranging but again I cant wait if to read em. Also im open to critique. I have no problem with that. Someone might think I am insane for giving tommyknockers a 2. So lists open to debate

Awesome list. I have heard duma key is excellent and also that cell isn't that excellent. U have 4 for both of em. Having read neither can u expand a little on that

They are very different. Cell is fastpaced and a kind of going back a little to how he wrote earlier. Duma key is more mature and thoughtful. They are excellent proof that he can tell his story in different ways. If you are led to believe that it's gonna be one type of story and it is different i think there are going to be disapointed voices. Personally i liked them both.

Samhain and A ch tung Baby are seasoned king readers to say the least. Agee on some and we're .5 and 1 difference in quite a few. Here r the ones that 1.5 or more difference.

Christine. Pet Semetary. Tommyknockers. Four Past Midnight. Needful things. Insomnia. Rose Madder. Liseys Story. Just after Sunset. Duma key.

I have read 2 of the books that they have a wide difference of opinion on. Tommyknockers and Needful things. Tommy I agree with Samhain and Needful things have to go with AchtungBaby. It's interesting to see how readers take different views of the same book. Do we take things to the table or do we let the book stand by itself?

Just realized I forgot The Stand (uncut) in my list, which is a total 5. My very favorite by him!

My goal for 2015 is to read the ones I haven't touched yet: Black House, The Colorado Kid, Thinner, Roadwork, The Running, Blaze. I think everything else I haven't read will be in The Bazaar of Bad Dreams.
