Top of the perch is my boy. Meet Regulus Black. He is around two months old.

Center perch is Sirius Black, usually known as Padfoot. He is also around two months old.

Bottom bed is my husband's boy, Shifu. He's around a year old.

We adopted all three boys from the Humane Society about two weeks ago. It's so nice to have cats in the house again!

How wonderful! all 3! I am so tickled to hear that. I would have a bazillion cats if I could. Which we know wouldn't be good for any of us. But, I just hate to see them in those cages.

When I go to Petsmart or Petco and they have the adoption area with kitties, I ALWAYS stand there and talk to them in my kitty voice. People look at me weird, but I'm thinking, they can hear, and they want to be talked to. So, I ignore them and chat away telling them all what pretty girls or boys they are. My husband abandons me.

I understand completely! My super-secret, never-gonna-happen dream is to build a "retirement preserve". A place where elderly, infirm, or "hopeless" critters could go to live out their days. Dogs, cats, birds, horses, even the exotic wildlife that idiots try to keep. It'd probably be more of a sanctuary than anything, but like I say...probably never gonna happen outside my head. Sigh. At least we can do some small thing, like pampering the pets we have. Right?

Thank you for adopting them! I've been leaning more and more towards getting another cat from the Humane Society myself. Maybe before Christmas.....
