What Flakes said. Moulin Rouge is a total rush.
Right, that is (absolutely) it, girl! I'm coming over and not leaving until you have been educated in the fun side of (Movie/TV show) life!
Put on the coffee and make snacks yar? This could take some time.
Get Shorty (1995) - Gene Hackman, John Travolta, Delroy Lindo, Danny DeVito, James Gandolfini & many more
There have been many movies made from Elmore Leonard novels and most of them miss the mark because nobody can seem to get those great characters from the page to the screen. That is not the case with Get Shorty. This is a great adaptation and all the actors are fantastic, especially Gene Hackman and John Travolta. I think this may be John Travolta's best role. The movie has tons of twists and turns and is wickedly funny. Highly recommended. This movie and Jackie Brown are the best Elmore adaptations that I've seen (and 3:10 to Yuma but that's from a short story).
A couple of my kids saw this at the flicks yesterday and said pretty much the same thing. They were not impressed with the ending at all. (having read the book)The Maze Runner.
Pros: Some good acting/characters and an interesting premise (at first)
Cons: A few bits of bad dialogue (very cliche) and a terrible ending.

I heard the ending was terrible, as well. I think it's because it sets up for the second (book) movie, The Scorch Trials?
That is one part of it. Also, I thought the explanation of why the kids were in the maze to begin with was awful.
