Okay, here's a little story. I have a nephew who's a cop. Part of a cop's training is to be tasered so they all know what it feels like. (at least where he lives it is.)

Him and his cop buddies, they had a discussion, these men in blue, about how it would feel to be tasered in the balls. My nephew said he would do it for a price.

They took up a collection and got one thousand dollars and that was his price. He let them taser him in the balls.

He's a very smart guy. Honestly. I think this is just a guy thing.

It's illegal to own a taser....but, a gun would have been OK?

According to the article he bought the tasers in Virginia, at a truck stop, but they are illegal to possess in Wisconsin, where he was arrested for possession of them. Not sure what you mean by a gun would have been okay, since no gun is mentioned in the article.

Your nephew is brave....$1000.00 for a taser stun to the cahones? No friggin way...lol, it hurts bad enough just getting tased in the back. It's an amazing feeling and by amazing I mean all sense of purpose and higher thinking is driven out of your brain in less than a second....immediately go into flight mode....and then you just curl up in a fetal position hoping it will end...not pleasant.

Brave didn't come into my mind at all when he told this story. I looked at him and said, "You. Are. An. Idiot." and laughed.

Least he got $1000 for it! My guy and his brother, and their cousin were all drunk one night and got out a cattle prod, and told their cousin they'd give him a hundred bucks if he'd take it to the jewels. So he was like, sure! They did it, he's cussing and jumping around, and of course they don't give him the money. Then the cousin was telling someone else in the gathering a story about his mom smacking his butt as a kid, and he leaned forward to smack his self, and they zapped him again. Little boys, not grown men in their 40s you'd think... :hmm:

Ah, I see where you were headed.........

Here's a link for you.......

Gun laws in the United States by state - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
So...there are laws. (To us Canuckians it often seems there are not.)

From what I understand, if he had a loaded gun, visible, that would have been fine. However, where the tazer was (a compartment above the windshield) it may not have been visible. He could have been charged for having a concealed weapon, if it had been a gun. Which probably carries a lesser charge then 6 years.

I just find this odd. Not arguing right or wrong. Just odd.

Nah, luckily mine was done eons ago when not everyone had a camera phone so no actual recorded video record of mine, but I still catch hell about it from my co-workers for the way I acted....mostly just screamed like a girl for about five seconds......I was told the scream sounded like a cross between a very bad rendition of Ave Maria and a jackal in heat.....I'm not sure the guys were qualified to actually make that comparison but everyone sure thought it was funny....to the point of pictures of jackals with crude captions being taped to my locker....lol, the guys I work with are very emotionally supportive and really cater to your feelings...lol
