While there are many quibbles with these particular endings I personally thought Lost and X-Files ended on just the right notes.
Loved the Friends finale along with Frasier and The Office.
One of the worst IMHO?
Roseanne. I loved that show but they completely jumped the shark when they won the lottery.

I have to agree 100% on the Roseanne finale. It was like the whole series didn't happen.

A series finale I didn't care for at all was the last episode of Star Trek: Voyager. Captain Janeway comes back through time, defeats the Borg and sends the ship home.
I can't stand it when they play around with the Grandfather paradox. You can't go back in time and change something because it changes the future.
I understand the critique, but it's certainly not the first time that that happened with the show. One of the episodes I really liked was "Yesterday's Enterprise," and they batted at that timeline story for a double. I actually did like the final Voyager episode.

I was an occasional Seinfeld watcher. I was amused by it, usually, but I just didn't understand the fandom associated with it. And then I dutifully tuned in to the final episode. Man, was that stupid. Sorry if you're a fan. The show had lots of good things. The final episode wasn't one of them.
