If you happen to be outside tonight and the skies are clear, make sure you look up for the shooting stars! The Geminids meteor shower (named because they appear to originate from the direction of the constellation Gemini) peaks tonight, with an average of 100-120 meteors per hour! Best viewing is after midnight but any time after dark usually works! Look towards the Northeast for best results, but just looking straight up will work too! More info here:

Soooo funny thing. I am (usually) the Queen of Stay-Up-Late. Last night after walking my dogs, I lay down on my bed to read for awhile (around 9:30-10:00pm) and fell asleep... 'til about 3:00am! When I got up to shuck my clothes I had a peak outside and we had a bit too much cloud cover. It was quite starry when I was out walking but did I remember to look then? Nooooooooo.

Oh well... :biggrin2:
