When I was 10, I watched the first mini series with my mom and I told her I wanted them to remake it and that I wanted to be in it, just like Stephen: only for a brief moment, but as someone whose kindness really mattered.

I've been thinking a lot about this story lately.. as things in the world get worse and worse, it's important to remember that even small acts of kindness are important.

Today I saw that Entertainment Weekly article and I was so excited. It will serve as a good reminder for people that we need to find each other and work together to ensure safety and happiness.

Jesse Plemmons ("Todd" from Breaking Bad) as Tom Cullen. Hear me out. I know he played a psychopath but with bleached hair and overalls he's talented enough to play this lovable simpleton. I think he's probably tall enough. Tom is actually supposed to be in his forties, though. Idk...still pondering.

Let me think about it. My list is constantly changing.

I explained my reasoning behind this in a different thread a year ago. There are some stipulations. Suffice it to say that he'd need to undergo some hair changes, grow a beard, but he was someone I'd envisioned in the role ('70s version).

I can see this. Timberlake is a really good actor. If you don't believe me, watch Black Snake Moan.

CBS All Access... $5.99 per month ($9.99 with an option for advertising-free streaming content). I spend enough on cable the way it is. Looking to spend less going forward. Gonna have to skip The Stand, I guess.

I'm not sure you can watch CBS here, but hopefully it'll come to blu-ray/dvd in the end. It's good news. The original mini-series wasn't bad, but left a lot to be desired. The actors were very good, but apart from that it could have been much better in the overall look and special effects.
