I'm not 'liking' this post. Bastids... I can't stand manipulative behaviour... I'm so sorry, KRF and hope you can find somewhere better to work soon.
Thanks. They haven't broken me yet! They have been trying for about three years now but I'm a pretty tough cookie. Besides, it'll just be more ammunition for a lawsuit........I've literally caught him with his pants down- how's he going to explain to HIS boss why the phone hasn't been replaced in 8 MONTHS?! His boss does not like him either from what I've been told. Mind you, this isn't just the store manager, it also includes the Human Resources person and all of my department manager, asst. manager, etc. They've all known about the missing phone and none of them have questioned why it wasn't replaced, so therefore they're all to blame.

No, please, God, no! I don't want to wear a headset like they do in BestBuy. All of our stores use the same type of phone system, which is the portable type.
Better than having electronics implanted up our butts or sumpin' (heard that was going to be the way of the future) - like a lost cat or dog :facepalm_smiley::nope:

Will do. I'm probably just being overdramatic about the situation but our store manager is a vindictive man- I've seen him in action. I really did nothing wrong. Here's what happened: last November the portable phone for my department went missing thru no fault of mine (I was off that day) and they have never replaced it. It's now been almost 8 months! I need the phone to take calls from other stores looking for merchandise or from customers doing the same. As it is now I have to either use a phone from another department when the person in charge of that other department is off for the day, or I have to run up to the landline phone on the other side of the store on the days when everyone else is working and they all have their own department phones. It's been hard to do my job without a phone. I'm fed up with it. You can't tell me that a huge company owned by Kroger cannot afford a phone after all of this time. So, I finally got up the nerve to email the District Manager about it because all this time I've been told that it was up to him to authorize the purchase of a new phone. Found out it's all been lies told by the store manager and my department managers. All these months I've been lied to! This is their way of getting me back for being off for my hernia surgery during Christmas. Told you- vindictive!
That's It I am going to come take all the phones out of the store so they have to by alll new ones. It will be all over the news that some crazy customer came and destroyed all the phones in the store forcing all new ones to be purchased.

So I was hopping around on youtube and all of the sudden a remembered this song hallelujad and wondered who sang it originally. So I call my mom ad ask her and she said look up shrek. I was like no that is a copy the original guy had a deeper voice. Then I found it. I though Jesus H this guy is really feeling it.

Leonard Cohen is amazing! My favorite of his is Famous Blue Raincoat. Enjoy!

I havn't played my guitar (new music anyway) in like a year. Sometimes I will go threw what I call mental growth spurts where I will get a little bit off or frustrated or sad and then all of the sudden this crazy new kick ass complicated song will be birthed out of my mind. I feel those little creative engines firing up. right now it is similar to a car that hasn't been started in a long time. It is going reeeru reeeru reeru. then if I just let it sit in the back of my mind until it claws its way out I won't be able to put a guitar down for a week. Then the lyrics will fly out faster then I can comprehend and BOOM a song. I am just saying I think that might be happening. I can't be sure. But I have been drawn to music again for the first time in a while. It is like an itch you can't scratch or something. It is weird. But I think that is what is going on.

hey Moderator , Dana Jean , FlakeNoir

I thought I was being pretty original and witty calling you guys the Mod Squad. And then last night I saw a movie on tv called The Mod Squad. I did not watch it but was it was pretty disappointing that I did not invent it! I am sure it has been used even before said movie but I just thought I was the inventor of the awesomeness of that phrase. My ignorance shows yet again :baffle:
