I need to watch this again but not the television version(s). I want the uncut one without commercial interruptions/editing. Deej- have you ever seen My Own Private Idaho? It's similar to MC.Okay, this might be pushing the line but, Midnight Cowboy was pretty horrific to me. Man's inhumanity to man and desperation are always horrific in my eyes.
Yeah, not what I had in mind, but I did see it recently and that's a pretty fair assessment. Unusual movie. Hoffman and Voigt were great together.Okay, this might be pushing the line but, Midnight Cowboy was pretty horrific to me. Man's inhumanity to man and desperation are always horrific in my eyes.
I have not seen it. But you've mentioned it before. I need to get it.I need to watch this again but not the television version(s). I want the uncut one without commercial interruptions/editing. Deej- have you ever seen My Own Private Idaho? It's similar to MC.
'I'll never let go, Jack!' Liar......Taxi Driver
The inside of Travis Bickle's mind is not a cheery place.
Now for horrifically bad movies,
Titanic would be at the tp of the list!
Did you see the original European version or the one with Keifer Sutherland? The original is much better. The Vanishing
I saw this in the theater. I'm claustrophobic. Enough said. (Wait, that sounds like I was in a cramped theater, or something. You know what I mean.)
How are you doing?Did you see the original European version or the one with Keifer Sutherland? The original is much better.
I'm good for now. Won't be in a couple of hours. I don't want to highjack this thread though. How are you doing?
Yes, I did. Much better, more realistic, and more atmospheric. I can't remember if it honored the novel's ending, though. Sutherland version did not.Did you see the original European version or the one with Keifer Sutherland? The original is much better.
….Ishtar.....*mic drop*…….
Absolutely. Oh, I can definitely see how people would lump it into horror. Wild Bill is basically the Ed Gein figure that inspired Psycho and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Just executed differently. I'd call it a thriller, too.The Silence of the Lambs, both the novel and movie. I still don’t get why so many classify it as horror when it’s clearly a thriller, still has some pretty gory scenes though.
You mean Buffalo Bill? Lol don’t disrespect my boy Jame Gumb like that.Wild Bill
Bahahahahaha! Yeah, that dude. Hadn't seen in a long time. At least I didn't call him Stuttering Bill. You mean Buffalo Bill? Lol don’t disrespect my boy Jame Gumb like that.
He was a great character in both the novel and the movie. The dance scene is a great example of adding a scene that isn’t in the source material, so iconic.Bahahahahaha! Yeah, that dude. Hadn't seen in a long time. At least I didn't call him Stuttering Bill.
