I'm gonna post this here, because it fits. I'll throw my review at the bottom for validity.
I am 3 books into reading the Dark Tower for the first time. it's been a SLOW PROCESS! I'm not loving it, but I'm pressing forward because some of it has been enlightening. The idea of KA & KA-Tet has stuck with me, and looking back I've realized there have been several "Drawings" if you will.
Mr. Mercedes is the latest. Jerome, Hodges & Holly.
Duma had Wireman, Edgar, and Jack.
Dome had Rusty, Dale & Julie
11-22 had George, Sadi & the old guy I can't think of.
I'm sure there are more, but it's an interesting thing SK does.
My review:
2nd tier King in my opinion.
I loved Hodges, Jerome & Holly, the story's "ka-tet."
But the rest was....alright.
No real nail biting tension and very cliche. The bad guy was a watered down Booth from In The Line Of Fire and the leaps in logic were loooong.
That being said, King is like pizza & sex......
