Was this in the book?
...true dat.....As GNT said, no it wasn't, but maybe it was a way to explain Brady and his mother's relationship without going into some of the scenes that explained it in the book. Not sure whether one is worse than the other, though.
...this series continues to be riveting and the emotions of the characters are almost palpable....I hope it doesn't stumble along the line...
Very good I thought,Brendan Gleeson does not disappoint,he is a great actor..Check out The Guard and In Bruges,he is funny and quirky and does a great job.
Now,where can I find the rest of the episodes?Do I have to get Netflix or something,I just have cable and internet, not directtv or att at all..
....s'ok, I was thinking the same thing!!.....Holy Moly you guys are blowing my mind with all these actor connections. I would never picked him out from Lake Placid either in a million years.

....I can't watch him now in that....I'll be expecting a hard drinking, clown searching, mad eyed wizard......Syfy is airing Lake Placid on Monday, September 11th. Lake Placid is one of my favorite movies
...Lou doesn't exist in the novel....Watched episode 4. I am so surprised how I actually enjoy "Lou's" character in this series on tv... vs the written novel. Makes me laugh. Didn't pay much attention to her in this first novel. I am really shocked how they portrayed "Brady" in this episode as some compassion and caring towards "Lou". I never imagined him to have ANY compassion or care towards anyone. Crazy.
See above poste # 28 - 30.I was thinking "Lou" is Freddi fellow co-worker at the Electronix store with Brady. I thought the character in the series just had the name changed? Or am I just cray-cray lol?
She also has a much larger role in the 3rd Novel of the series. I feel all mixed up now.
You are correct. Ms Mod was referring to Ida. My mistake!I agree with post #28 but i think the posts by the moderator was referring to "Ida" in the story not "Lou". If u notice in the tv series... "Lou's" last name is Linklatter.. just like Freddi Linklatter in the novels "Mr. Mercedes" and "End of Watch". Short for Fredrica.
I know and understand why "Ida" was an added character.
