I remember reading the spoiler in the review, but didn't want to point it out 'cuz that's just the way I am. Now, I can't stop thinking about it and it makes me sad to know the outcome of one of the characters I'm reading about right now.

As that character in the Monty Python sketch says "Say no more, say no more!" Do not want to read ANY spoilers on this book! (It happened with Doctor Sleep and of course you are right - you cannot stop thinking about it and it ruins a portion of the book for you). It sort of stops the flow of words or the continuity of the tale.
