Mr. Mercedes TV Series Casting Ideas?

I was really excited when I heard the news of the upcoming TV series. I did some thinking, and came up with what I think would be a pretty great cast. Do you guys have any casting ideas? Here's mine:


Michael Chiklis as Bill Hodges.


Finn Wittrock as Brady Hartsfield


Tyler James Williams as Jerome Robinson


Sarah Paulson as Holly Gibney


Vera Farmiga as Janey Patterson

I could see John Goodman as Hodges.. Remember he's supposed to have like 30 years on the job, and was heavy at the start.. Goodman is a good actor, I bet he could even do the weight loss thing..

I always had Elijah Wood in mind for Brady, especially after seeing him in the Mania remake. He might be considered too old for the role now though.

I've always pictured Billy Bob Thornton as Hodges. He'd have to put on some weight for Mr. Mercedes, though.
