The language in Lisey's Story jumped out at me. It knocked me over. It crawled in my brain and took up residence in the living room of my mind and lives there still

I recently started reading it and the first thing that I noticed was how well written it is. Mr. King sure knows how to trawl the 'word pool' as we all know and the construction of this one is excellent.
150 pages in now and have a good feeling that it's gonna be up there in my top ten.

Yes, I thought the same thing when I first read it. I remember seeing King do a reading from it and saying he believed it was his most literary novel and he was the proudest of it. I agree with him.
