I don't think the show has started yet, but I saw the 2-part episode on NCIS that had the team going down to New Orleans to establish the new cast. I have to say, they had every New Orleans stereotype in the show, from a trumpet player outside the Cafe Du Monde to the team eating breakfast at Mother's. Beads and barf everywhere in the streets, the buggies in front of Jackson Square and streets in the Quarter filled with drunken throngs. And I loved it. The were a little heavy-handed on all of the references, but they were completely accurate. In a lot of the scenes, I was able to say "I know that spot. I've been there."
The only thing they really need to work on is Scott Bakula's accent. He either needs to get it right or give it up.
All in all, I look forward to this show.
