Hello Forums!
I'm 34 and come from NB, Canada. I only recently started reading anything by Stephen King and only picked up a paperback of Joyland on a whim.
I've read a few of the Donald Westlake (Richard Stark) 'Parker' books and noted that it was dedicated to the late Mr. Westlake.
I finished the book in a couple of days and quite enjoyed it. Joyland was a refreshing noir style coming-of-age tale.
The next day I found Mr. Mercedes only by accident when passing a local bookstore. This time I couldn't put it down and am of course quite excited for the follow-up.
I could get into this Stephen King hard crime thing.
At this point I began looking for more SK to read. My Wife had given me a copy of 11/22/63 a couple of Christmas's ago and I'd never gotten around to reading it for whatever reason (Big book).
I don't know what to really say about 11/22/63 except that its now easily become my favorite book of all time.
I've never felt that way about a book before.
I'm reading The Stand now and while I definitely am finding it more terrifying than the three books I've finished I just can't put the thing down.
I'm kind of rambling here.
Cheers folks.
