Hello all, Jeff here. I came to this site after reading Mr. King's "On Writing." Finished it yesterday, the first of his books I've read, by the way. I checked it out at the local library after thumbing through several books on the subject. I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to Stephen for giving us On Writing. After it goes back to the library, I'm getting a copy for myself.

Behind you
Yesh!! I started with Salems' lot, then to the Shining. (forget about the movie if you saw it)

The Stand is one you will never forget. What fun and laughs and horrible things are awaiting you!

For others.. How strange how Sai King can make us laugh with one sentence and the next thing be so terrified? :0

That's the only one of his I haven't read. It's on my list for 2016 as I have heard tremendously good things about it on this board. I always assumed I would not be interested in it as I have never aspired to write for money. Looking forward to it. Welcome and enjoy, mal.
