:eek: GASP!.....who are you, and what have you done with Lepplady??? :biggrin-new::biggrin-new:

I do like "Rock Star"......great choice!
My phone goes off and people look at me like.. "That's the old lady's phone? Really?" It amuses me when young folks act like they invented hard rock. Whippersnappers.
I chose that one because I couldn't find a clip of sugar, and it just grew on me.

What ringtones do you use? Do you change them occasionally?

~~~
When my phone rings it is the TARDIS landing.
When I get a text River Song says "Hello Sweetie".
~~~

Funny story. I was standing in line at a store. There was a guy ahead of me, nobody else behind me. I got a text, and this guy, a bit younger than me, hears "Hello Sweetie" so he turns and looks at me. Looking around to see if there is someone else that might have said it. He looks very confused. So I smiled and waved to him. I didn't check my phone until he had turned around again.
Before the latest upgrade iPhone had a ringtone called Robots which I used. It was a very weird sound inducing a number of associates to remark with awe and humor. "Robots" has been discontinued, to the chagrin of few. I now use something with the word "space" in it and which sounds like scifi.

Current ringtone: Sugar by Maroon 5
Current text message notification: Fairydust (Android)

Change the ringtone a lot. Recent ones: Sublime by Santeria; Drift Away by Dobie Gray; John the Revelator by Curtis Stigers; Old Time Rock & Roll by Bob Seger; All Summer Long by Kid Rock; Sons of Anarchy theme song

Correction: Make that Santeria by Sublime. Ay-yi-yi....:facepalm_smiley: :)

My son does that too. One time his phone was taken by a teacher because it rang in class. He didn't answer it or anything...it was the phone company sending a message. So now, his phone vibrates, which does not disrupt class.

I don't really have anything to add to this post, but I like your signature.

Chocolate understands.

I wish more people were down with that simple truth.

I went through them and settled on a sound that was like a phone ringing.

Yeah, I'm boring.
Me too! Mine's a old style telephone ring. It embarrasses the kids and that makes me happy.

I like to assign ringtones..lol
Mother- DANGER DANGER MOTHER CALLING
Husband- (ring) Husband Calling- sung to the lowrider song.
Son-( ring) Son Calling ( sung to KISS tune) (text) Stewy saying....mom.....mum......mummmy......ma.....ect,ect ( this kills me every time!)
Brother-( ringtone) Doctor Who (text) The Walking Dead
:rofl:
Oh God, I need this. Whenever my phone rings, you will hear me say "Oh God please don't let this be my mother!"
:rofl:

Speaking of cell phones. I dropped mine in the toilet today. It was in my pocket. I didn't notice until I stood up to flush. Great timing. There's much going on this weekend, kids in all different directions, and me without a phone until Monday.

Thanks! I did - it's resting in rice right now. Doesn't seem to be working yet, but I'm hopeful. It's ok, the biggest loss will be all the phone numbers I'll never remember. I think I'll go through old phone bills and try and piece it together. I don't have an iphone - and I always just save my numbers to "phone". Le sigh... this is not the first phone I've killed. Fortunately it was insured, but it's costing $50 to replace my $150 phone.

In grade 6 my son had to make a diorama about safety in the design/technology class. He made this video to go with it. Originally he was going to use Enter Sandman, but thought this worked a bit better. He got an A for the diorama and an A++ for the video. (The machine is the sander.)

Hopefully this works.
I loved that video AnnaMarie! Thanks for posting. I've done a few stop motion things over the years and they are quite intricate and attention to detail must be paid. The lighting was quite consistent and the edits were clean. I did not listen with the music on, but will another time. Thanks again, mal.

Hahaha well sounds like you should check this one out.It goes on to list lots if stuff to beware of.It cracks me up but also scares the crap put of me when it goes off because the tone is that of like an alarm you'd here if a virus got loose in a top secret facility.
