A whole new meaning for 'The Streets Are Paved With Gold!!'
Yeah - I was just repeating one of the comments that showed up below the article, that's all. But I do remember being in France in the spring and the streets were covered in ****e from the dogs. You think they would pass a law like we have here to get people to pick up the doggie doo-doo. (this was in 1995 so maybe they are more civilized now?)
We have a By-Law in the UK that stipulates that dog owners must clear up after their animals, and bins are provided for the "little packages" to be deposited in. However, although most owners "pick-up" after their pets instead of using the bins they hang the little bags on tree branches!
It really improves the view.
