I've not read this yet but I am buying the physical book (as opposed to eBook) soon. It looks like one "hell" of a read! Be sure to use the "look inside" feature after clicking the link.

These books are the entire reason that the horror genre went into the gutter in the 80's. Man, I remember when the 'horror' section in book stores used to be 6 or 8 feet across of shelf space from floor to ceiling and now I'm treated to one little tiny section if the store even has a 'horror' area. There were so many bad books being published because some guy named Stephen King was selling a gazillion copies of his books. ;-D

That looks supremely cool! I loved 70s/80s horror. Whatever was on the spinner at WalMart because I lived in a tiny town at least an hour from a bookstore. Thanks for the heads - up. I loved seeing those covers.

Speaking of nauseating...have you read John Saul? He has some interesting story ideas, admittedly, but he writes about as well as I water ski (that is to say, not well).
I read his first 3 or 4 books and gave up after that. They were all the same- little girl who turns out to be evil, etc.

I know you didn’t ask me, but I have several Saul paperbacks—thrift store purchases—but haven’t gotten to any of them yet.
Ha, that's ok, I'm an Equal Opportunity poster. :heheh:
Let me know what you think when you get around to it. I only recall liking one of his books. Darkness is the title, it was mediocre.
