Forgive me if this has been discussed anywhere already I have been away a little bit and a quick search and I did not see a topic.

Is there any information on how to attend this event? Ticket purchases? Ect.

There's a little more information than what Neesy has given you here.

I'm not aware of a way to buy individual tickets.

Not at the moment and I don't anticipate there being any later on. There will be very limited publicity for this one as last year's tour took a lot of time away from his writing and home.
I bet it was great spending & sharing time with Owen though. It appeared to be a great opportunity for bonding and they seemed like they enjoyed that part of it.

Yes, he did enjoy that part of the book tour very much. They were both anxious to get home by the end of it, though.

My mother is very jealous that I'm getting to go as she's a big Morgan Freeman fan. You know it's a big deal for me, too, when I'm even willing to wear heels.
Enjoy the evening, savor the honor and guests. Be careful of the heels!! Your mom is just going to have to read your "report" post on the SKMB!!:smile2:

I have a friend who has worn high heels since she was a kid! She's tiny and always wanted to be tall, so she rocks these 6 inch stilettos and she is a pro at it.

She had hurt her knee skiing and the doctor told her to wear flat shoes for a certain amount of time. She couldn't do it. Something to do with her achilles tendon. She was in so much pain, she went back to her high heels with her knee injury and did just fine.
