No pics but I used to have a pet hamster that died. I was playing around with him on the bed and my body rolled over him several times. When I found him afterwards, his body was still.

I am so sorry for this loss fljoe0 . May Ozzy run free of pain now just over that Rainbow Bridge. He had a wonderful life with you. Hold each memory close. He will always be with you. (((fljoe and Ozzy)))R.I.P. Ozzy
It's been a sad couple of days as I had to let Ozzy go Tuesday. He had a good run, he was 14 1/2 and very healthy for most of that time. His back end had just about completely given out. It was tough because he still seemed so mentally alert and was in good spirits considering the pain he must have been in when he walked. Through all of his leg troubles the past year, he still wanted to go for his afternoon walk and I would take him even if it was just to the end of the property and back. A couple of months ago, he stopped wanting to even do that. Here's the youngest photo I could find of him (he was 2) and there are a few of the old guy in the posts above.

I'm so sorry. It has to be the hardest thing any pet parent has to do even when we know it's the right thing to do.R.I.P. Ozzy

Okay, Nibbler and Sunni have put on weight. You still look tiny, they are both bigger than you!How I spend my days now...with Nibbler and Sunni. Does anyone remember my sweet Rescue pup? She has been my nurse-maid for a long time now. Talk about paying it forward! Plus Nibbler has recently joined the Get Better fest. He lays his big head on my shoulder to kiss me...He also purrs like a Mac Truck, but I find it quite soothing...
