Dear Mr. King, I am in awe. I first met you when The Shining haired on HBO when HBO first started. I was a young middle schooler wanting to prove I was brave amd grown up. Next I met you when I watched Carrie, oh how I loved the ability she used to stop her mother. You first introduced yourself in print to me in Cujo, how could a saint bernard be the star of a horror novel? But you, Sir, pulled it off. From tha point on I was hooked, line and sinker. My late brother was as much a fan. Even though we lived hundreds of miles apart, wed but your books, devour them, then spend endless hours (and at that time dollars on long distant calls) discussing them. He passed just as the last installment of the Dark Tower series was published. Oh how that series cod not have ended any other way. The progression of your craft is so wonderful to watch, newbies really need to start at the beginning and work their way through. The depravity of your mind to be able to pull and elicit from us, your Constant Reader, the inner psyche of your characters is beyond verbal description. So I say to you Mr King, thank you for the decades of entertainment and mind boggling thoughg and introspection. Sincerely, a true fan.
