Meh, I’d say all these fit the bill much better, Veteran is a sci fi epic told in song of all things. These ones contain themes similar to those of Carrie’s.Veteran of the Psychic Wars- BOC

Yeah but here’s my point, Psychic Wars has a completely different tone, it tells the story of mentally scarred veteran who has gone through, to quote the song “A thousand psychic wars”. He begs for them to stop. Then in its somewhat sequel song “Sole Survivor”, it depicts how the veteran is now the last human alive, and how he wanders the earth alone before being offered salvation by a group of aliens, which he declines by hiding, as he is determined to be the end of the human race. Completely different tones, they together form an epic, which Carrie is not. The Stand and The Dark Tower series would fit its bill much more. Just because two things can fit into the wider “sci-fi” genre does not mean they are essentially the same for sharing the one common theme of telekinesis. Again, it’s your opinion, but I would argue VOTPW does not connect to Carrie at all.Well, a telekinetic teenage girl is sci-fi
