The hell? Is that?
Why people get all bent out of shape about the eating habits of others, something that is none of their business, I will never know. Anyway, I guess if you don't eat meat, the question would be: how firm do you like your tofu?I prefer no meat. That's how I feel; it has no judgment whatsoever, except what apparently meat-eaters have placed there themselves.
All I have to do is mention I don't eat meat - no judgment there, it's a statement of fact - and I've had more meat-eaters than all the vegetarians in creation get angry with me. I've only had one vegetarian judge me for eating meat. I've had at least 25 people in the last month judge me for NOT doing so.
They don't think 'Well that's more for me to eat,' no. Apparently it's 'I have to be angry that you do this.' Well they're doing it to themselves because I've never done it.
In fact in one case, I even said aloud that "it's more meat for you." Didn't help.
Incidentally I'm not vegan. I eat eggs, drink milk and eat other milk products.
There's actually a reason for why I switched from eating meat to not consuming it, but it's way too personal and complicated to relate here what that health concern is.
Poultry: Dark meat.
Bread: Soft. Homemade. Yeasty. More whole grain than not.
Rice: Depends on the application, although I'm not big on rice, overall.
Tea: For iced, Luzianne. For herbal, peppermint or jasmine. For cozies, Earl Grey (double bergamot if available), with milk and sugar.
Pizza: Cheese, all meat, or all veggie. The gourmet varieties are really good, in general. My fave is from a local place, and it's white sauce, provolone, feta, Monterey Jack, Romano and Swiss, with a sprinkle of rosemary. Often we add chicken and spinach. SO. GOOD. For a while, I was so sick of pizza, but I would love some now!
Wine: Malbec or, failing that, any robust red.
Coffee: Brewed strong, lots of white stuff, lightly sweet. Iced is also yummy.
Art: Hyperrealism, Post-Impressionism (<3 Van Gogh <3), Surrealism, or just whatever strikes my fancy. I like art that feels powerful, although that can mean different things and be felt in different ways. There was a French painter named William-Adolphe Bouguereau who painted exquisitely beautiful hands and feet (that is, he painted people, but the hands and feet were especially magnificent).
Actors: So many greats. TNTC.
Cream Cheese frosting on the fruitcake? Interesting.....I hate canned milk. I will drink a Tim's coffee now and then but I prefer Nescafe.
What is your favorite Christmas treat? Mine is fruitcake. I prefer my own homemade with lots of rum in it and Cream Cheese frosting.
I'm always really surprised when horror writers can be so hilarious.
Mz. Chef, what is a Chinese cut? What kind of rice do you prefer? I prefer the sticky kinds to the fluffy kinds.
Do you like your bread crusty or soft? I prefer mine soft except for baguettes. I like them crusty and sliced in a chinese cut.
Do you prefer dark meat or light with poultry meats? Dark for me.
You guys answer some of these and ask some of your own...if you wish.

Mz. Chef, what is a Chinese cut?
Makes sense. THANKS.I'm not sure but I think in little triangles. Chinese Checkers are arranged in triangles. I'm just guessing.
The same cut you see in stir-fried vegetable. Slanted sorta instead of a virticle cut.Mz. Chef, what is a Chinese cut?
Good gosh I meant verticle. The same cut you see in stir-fried vegetable. Slanted sorta instead of a virticle cut.
