Really?! Had no idea it would do that. I know we've had some issues with trying to get the balance for how the site refreshes and being able to have it not be too slow so might be a conflict there.

Now I know what it was about the term that had me twitching a little--couldn't put my finger on it before. I was just having a bit of fun with how the “Anonymous” aspect is played up, yet the site somehow knows I posted a comment earlier.
Seriously though, I was wondering how the information was going to be utilized (no paranoia), especially when looking for additional comments after Revival is released.
The site looks great, is appealing, and I can't wait to read Revival, partly so I can use the site!
My understanding is it will stay as is--we're not planning to use the comments posted now for any other part of the project. If someone has a new thought to add after reading Revival, it will be an entirely new post, not connected to the old one.
You don't need to read Revival to comment--we want to know what your thoughts are right now before being influenced by the book, so sort of a before/after idea.
As far as my moderating involvement, I have no idea who is posting what or from where it's coming from. None. And I personally have no way to track any of that information.
I realize that. It probably has something to do with IP address checks in the software. Was just having a bit of fun with the glitch I experienced. Didn't mean to ruffle feathers. Kinda sorry I participated in it now.
NO way! I'm glad you participated and only wish more people here on the board would. Stephen sets up this place for us all to play, and yet hardly anyone wants to give back when asked. I get disappointed.
I was just reassuring you and anyone else that we honestly don't know who is saying what. Please, continue to engage in the social MEDIA experiment, especially once you read the book!
